YGC, Inc.'s Mission and Community Promise

YGC, Inc. is founded for public benefit and operates to accomplish community development, with focus on education, and skill development through empowerment activities for youth and families by building upon the leadership potential within the community. Its programs effectively and efficiently work toward achieving that mission and it is committed to continuous quality improvement. Based on the values of quality, responsibility, and accountability, it's board members, volunteers, and contractors will act in the best interest of achieving the organization's mission at all times.

Mission

YGC, Inc.'s purpose - To enhance the lives of youth and adults by providing solution focused initiatives that promote skill development, family, and community bonding.

Community Capacity Building Activities include:

Mentoring & Leadership Training
Youth Workforce Development
Faith Based Collaborations
Community Service: Positive Community Service opportunities for youth that include community and social bonding activities
Community breakfast held at local community parks for purpose of promoting community organizationservices, and to encourage communication between community members and stakeholders to create solution focused initiatives for low income and minority populations.
Health and resource fairs
Career and leadership development workshops to students and parents
Volunteer training for youth and adults that promotes skill building and community volunteerism
Town Hall meetings

Services are culturally based and available in Spanish and English
